Is Apple Silencing Critics by Blocking Final Cut Pro X Comments? (Updated)

Did you drop $300 on Final Cut Pro and hate it? Want to leave a negative comment to voice your displeasure? Apparently, you are not alone.

There are so many of you trashing the video editing application that Apple may have temporarily removed all comments about the app from the Mac App Store. There are over 500 ratings and not one comment for the application. All the comments that were present earlier today are now gone.

To be fair, this could be a glitch in the commenting system. But it's odd that it affects Final Cut Pro X and not Compressor or Motion, two other apps that launched along with the video editing application. Any conspiracy theorists care to step up and comment?

Update: The Final Cut Pro X reviews are back. Good, bad or indifferent, they are all there for your reading pleasure. [9to5Mac]

Premiere and AVID users laugh uncontrollably, while pointing at the people who stuck with FCP. There's gotta be some smug satisfaction at the Adobe camp over this. With no more Xserve, no more FC Server and a whole lot of other things in FCPX, Quark being a major POS for the longest time now...what are Macs supposed to be good for again?
