I hate crosswinds when landing as much as I love seeing videos of planes safely landing under crosswinds, feeling a knot in my stomach as I see the pilot struggling to keep control and imagine myself inside the plane. Like this giant Thai Airbus A380, which looked like it was about to crash in Narita Airport, Japan.

Reportedly the A380 landed under a maximum crosswind of 90 feet per second (27.4 meters per second.)
