It’s probably just a coincidence that Kinju Fukusaku’s Battle Royale is finally getting a fancy U.S. release on DVD and Blu-ray on March 20. It can’t possibly have something to do with some other movie about teen death games, coming out around the same time, can it? No, of course not. In any case, whatever the reason, we’re all grateful for a shiny new copy of Battle Royale — and here’s the U.S. DVD trailer.
