So much news passes before our collective eyes every day that we couldn't possibly cover it all. Mostly because much of it isn't worth covering! But here are a some borderline tidbits we passed on, just in case.

You know what makes a flattering snapshot? The look of fear. This camera concept hopes to remedy all those "boring" pictures of your friends smiling. Pull back the elastic band, point it at your friend, and let it go. The shutter fires at the exact moment they think they've lost an eye. This is a concept I could do without. [Wired]
The new Stooges app lets you cut up 76 clips of Three Stooges shenanigans and rearrange them into beats. The app's functionality is great, and I love that you can export your wiley compositions to Facebook, YouTube and email—I just wish the results weren't so irritating. [iTunes]
