Let Your Fingers Do the Walking

Yes, that’s right, once again Asia has handed us our hats with cellular technology. The new Pantech “fingerprint-recognition” phone called the Gl100 will be marketed in Europe, Asia and the Middle East and I’m kinda bummed. Not only is it extremely good-looking and really, really light at 82 grams, but it uses something called (I love this) “Secret Finger Dial” and a “fingerprint scanner surface” to register positive fingerprint identification to unlock the keys and call ten different corresponding finger controlled speed dial phone numbers. You can save 800 numbers and allows for 2.5 hours of voice recording. It also has a 1.3 megapixel camera and 64MB of RAM.
