Bits of news are trickling out about the LG PM800, a PocketPC-based PDA set to make its big splash after months of false starts, mainly in the form of, “hey, let’s add this feature, too!” The latest addition is a TPEG transport for the PDA. TPEG, which stands for Transport Protocol Experts Group, lets the PM800 display GPS-obtained traffic information without any additional hardware. LG is also throwing in DMB TV support, yet another technology that has yet to catch on here.
LG is sort of dragging its heels with this one, so if it’s ever actually released, we’ll keep you posted.
