Last year, Adobe showed off a demo of RAW photo processing on the iPad. It was impressive, relying on some hefty cloud processing to carry the heavy load of massive uncompressed data files. The end game for that research is almost certainly a version of Lightroom that would work on tablets. It looks like that this fabled mobile product might be coming soon.
9to5Mac reports that "Lightroom for Mobile" popped up in Adobe's online store, boasting a $99 annual subscription price through Adobe CC. While that leads us to believe that an announcement or launch could be imminent, we don't know for sure. Here's hoping I don't have to drag my computer around to edit on the go.
