The R800 offers a green laser pointer, LCD display (providing info like battery life, time alerts and wireless reception) and a 100-foot range. The R400 is stripped down to a red laser, navigation buttons and a 50-foot range. Both devices will be available starting in September for $100 and $50 respectively.
