Based on the godawful 1998 American Godzilla movie, this series was actually significantly better than its source material. That's not exactly saying much, though.
• Mazinger Z: The TV Series Part One
The first 46 episodes of the classic '70s anime about a giant robot fighting giant mechanical monsters, an evil hermaphrodite cyborg, and a guy named Dr. Hell.
