Malaysian company Fifth Media launched the minimo M2, a slim candybar cellphone with a video and audio player inside. This GSM/GPRS handset has a 2.1-megapixel camera with an LED flash, and it also plays back MPEG4 video at 384x288 pixels if you don't mind watching the picture on its smallish 1.9-inch screen. It's just under 4 inches tall, and certainly is slim, at a svelte 11.6mm thick.

There's a miniSD slot to hold all the video you might be shooting with the M2, and it plays MP3s and AAC audio as well. The company says the minimo M2 is now available and it will be around $299.
