Only one person uses the word “she” for the genetically-engineered woman at the heart of director Luke Scott’s thriller. So, yeah, maybe some of those other people deserve the terror that’s coming for them.
There’s a bunch of new footage in the latest trailer for Morgan, which stars Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch) in the lead role. While the movie seems to revolve around a classic sci-fi premise where scientists play God and create life, the psychological stakes here feel incredibly tense in this exploration of the idea. Morgan comes out on September 2.
