MSN wants to relaunch Heroes, because it hates happiness

Yes, Heroes is coming back, at least if MSN has its way. The Microsoft Network, which is trying to create original programming for Xbox Live, is in talks with NBC to bring back the superhero show, which had one good season and three godawful seasons that were horrific punishments from a cruel and uncaring god.

TV Line says the talks have just begun, but it seems like any new Heroes series would focus on new Heroes, with characters from the original series stopping by and cameoing based on their availability, which would be based on how completely the original show destroyed their careers.

Honestly, as long as Tim Kring and Jeph Loeb aren’t involved, MSN would be hard-pressed to make a series as shitty as Heroes ended up. Seriously, just avoid featuring women who shoot rainbows out of cellos and dead moms curing brain tumors with an imaginary kiss, and you’re already ahead.
