Yesterday, we told you that Intel was working on getting out a 45 nanometer SRAM chip by 2007. Today, we get news that Toshiba, Sony and NEC are collaborating to bring their own cutting-edge 45 nanometer chip to the market. The agreement was made today between the 3 big computer and CE companies, but there’s no time-line yet as to when we’ll see the technology in any form. Could this be another reason to accept Moore’s Law? We’ll see as hardware approaches finishing stages.
