Here’s a horribly depressing scenario for you: you’re at a McDonalds, laptop in tow, and are struggling to configure your complimentary cheeseburger wireless. Why do you need WiFi? Are you Googling what happened to your life? Nugget liveblog?

The fact that Windows setup requires twelve different steps with seven different diagrams, as opposed to OS X’s respective three and two, is a statement unto itself. But the real statement is that if you’re reading a brochure entitled “Need More Help Setting Up…” at a McDonalds, the kind of help you need won’t be found in a WiFi instruction manual.
