ViewSonic is hoping to take advantage of the surge in popularity of pico projectors with their new PJD2121 Short Throw DLP featuring a 1:1 throw ratio that displays a 60-inch view area at a distance of 4-feet.
The projector is capable of producing 400 ANSI lumens, a 1,800:1 contrast ratio and an 800×600 SVGA resolution—not too shabby considering the whole unit only weighs in at 2.2lbs. One potential drawback to the PJD2121 is that it utilizes a traditional lamp which will require regular bulb replacement. The projector can be picked up now for $441. [About Projectors]
