Some cray cray individuals think that the Canary Islands were the door to the lost continent of Atlantis. That's one of the reasons I like this image of Atlantis—the space shuttle—flying parallel to the Canarian island of Tenerife.

From this angle, it looks like they are twins, one shape made of flying metal and clay, the other made of grounded metal and clay. The image was taken as the shuttle was about to dock with the International Space Station. [Chet-Apichet NASA]
