We thought that the dog doodie diaper was the worst pet gadget of all time, but it's been usurped in the hallowed tradition of pet owner stupidity. This advertisement starts with the lead "Dog Rides Comfortably in Sack..." and just gets worse from there.

Dog Rides Comfortably in Sack on Running Board

When you take your dog along for a ride, but prefer not having it inside the car, it can ride safely and comfortably in this sack, which is carried on the running board. The bottom of the sack is clamped to the running board and the top is fastened to the lower part of an open window with hooks, covered with small rubber tubing to prevent marring the car.

We just realized that the scene from National Lampoon's Vacation in which Clark Griswold finds he's dragged a dog to a tortuous death probably wasn't so funny after all. [modernmechanix via autoblog]

@Rizzuh:

I care about both - it's possible you know.

Anyone who can that to a puppy is completely gone. He is devoid of human emotion or compassion - a classic sociopath. Since you are concerned about people, what do you think this loathsome waste of air does to Iraqi civilians, especially when the camera is not rolling?

Someday, if we are unlucky, this subhuman filth will be walking the streets again. Perhaps in your city.

Having said that his family did nothing and should be left alone to contemplate the fact that their son now resembles a giant predatory insect more than a human being.

And if you have ever had a dog you would no that dogs are people too, better in some ways. As Twain said, "The difference between a dog and a man is if you feed a dog and show him kindness, that dog will never bite you."
