Pinnacle Systems sees itself as the great mobile TV enabler and just launched two antennae here at CES, the PCTV To Go HD Wireless and Pinnacle PCTV To Go. They also function as placeshifters, allowing you to watch whatever's on your home TV remotely on your laptop, a la Slingbox. I just saw the wireless version in action and came away largely impressed. Plug the dongle into your laptop and start watching all that local, over-the-air TV has to offer using the company's proprietary software. It even lets you use your computer's hard drive in order to turn it into a PVR of sorts. Vista friendly, out now (wireless version at least; the wired one comes out in February).

DISCUSSION

Saw one of these over christmas vacation, works pretty well, plugged my laptop into an HDTV and plugged this dongle in, got some really crisp HDTV. Poor OTA signal reception will result in badly dropped frames, and the software is pinnacle's somewhat unfriendly to use and setup media center program.
