With CTIA 2008 in full-swing and my cellphone chiming in constantly with text messages, I began to wonder about the phenomenon of text messaging as a whole. Sometimes it seems that it would make more sense to call or send an email, but that crap is for old people. There are definitely situations where sending someone a quick message is prefereable—especially if you can’t stand talking to the person your are trying to contact.
