If you’re one of many people who dislike waiting for the water to boil, you’ll definitely like the Quooker system: It allows you to get boiling water from the tap. Water goes into a special tank under the sink, which heats the water to boiling point. Then it’s super-heated a few extra degrees to guarantee sterility, and the water is passed through a filter. For safety’s sake, the tap is a push-to-turn style, and the water streams out in fine sprays, not a hard flow. I’m definitely a fan of this idea — no more waiting for that pot of water to boil for pasta.
No information on pricing, but we suspect it’s an Europe-only product at this point.
