Regular-Looking Cellphone with Windows Mobile 5.0

In case you don't feel like toting around a big clunker of a PDA-cellphone but wouldn't mind having Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0, here's a new phone you'll find branded from Cingular. Announced officially today, but kicking around since mid-December, the 2125 Smartphone is made by High Tech Computer Corp and is the first phone being sold in the US that will have Mobile 5.0 with a typical cellphone dial pad—it's aimed at consumers more than business customers. It also includes Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel camera, EDGE, and quad-band GSM (no WiFi, of course). Right now, you won't be able to send emails from Microsoft's office e-mail system, but Microsoft plans to release a software upgrade by the middle of the year. We've also heard that this is an update to the Audiovox 5600. Should go for about $199 with a two-year contract rebate.
