Kotaku is reporting that the Nintendo Revolution (the company’s next console) will not only be backwards compatible with GameCube games, but that it supports the Nintendo DS wireless protocol. For gamers, this means they will be able to use their Revolution as a bridge between the Nintendo DS and the Internet, bringing much hoped for (and probably needed) Internet play to the handheld system.
