Batman Vs. Superman's new Batsuit is almost perfected, while there's a hint about The Flash's TV costume. A super-secret guest-star is rumored to be joining Matt Smith in his final moments as the Doctor. And is Age of Ultron adding yet another villain to its lineup? Spoilers now!

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Rumor has it this sequel's searching for a "physically imposing man, age range 40-50, Caucasian" — and there's some reports this could be the character of Baron von Strucker, one of the main leaders of HYDRA. Supposedly, Strucker would be a supporting role in Age of Ultron, but this would still mean the film's adding another villain to the one mentioned in the title. If this movie also keeps the Marvel thread of having Thanos as the hidden Big Bad, that means the Avengers would be looking at a lot of villains.

Latino Review says the HYDRA leader part is the boss of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, and that that the studio's looking at Marton Csokas and Dougray Scott for the part of Strucker. As usual, until confirmation, take this rumor with a grain of salt. [Latino Review]

According to Matthew McConaughey, who refuses to actually talk about the plot, the story is "very personal" to Christopher Nolan, as it combines one of his original ideas and an existing script by his brother, Jonathan. McConaughey also described a bit of his experience during filming:

He sure as [heck] knows what he wants. There's scope, major scope, which means a lot of things have to be coordinated. But at the same time, when you're shooting it moves incredibly quickly.

Starship Troopers

Some tweets from Zack Stentz over the weekend reveal that a script for the new Starship Troopers adaptation is in the hands of the studio right now. Stentz characterized the new script this way:

Less a satire & more an actual adaptation of the Heinlein novel. An Officer & a Gentleman in power armor... I love the Verhoeven version too! But this was a chance to actually engage with the source material instead of just mock it."

Johnny Quest

Peter Segal is still working on a live-action, feature-length adaptation of the cartoon classic. Talking to Coming Soon, Segal said of the project:

I would love to make that my next movie. We just hired a writer to do another pass. We already have a very good script. Then we go through budgeting hell and trying to get it into shape.

Batman vs. Superman

Costume designer Michael Wilkinson says that, in addition to creating costumes for the new-to-this-franchise Batman and Wonder Woman, they've also tweaking the Superman costume from Man of Steel. In fact, Wilkinson says they're close to done with all of that:

We are now in the stage where we're refining our designs with the last series of camera tests and doing our final tweaks in preparation for shooting.

Doctor Who

Right before the Doctor regenerates on December 25th, rumor has it he'll be visited by the ghost of someone important from his past. Who is being kept super-secret, but this appears to be the exchange:

Who says: "Times change and so must I but I will always remember when The Doctor was me." And the spook tells him: "Good night."

Here's an interview with Orla Brady, where she talks about her character, the Mother Superious of the Papal Mainframe/"galactic nun" Tasha Lem. [Patheos]

Agents of SHIELD

In episode 12, "Seeds," Agents of SHIELD will add the Iron Man super villain Blizzard to its list of Marvel characters incorporated into the show. The episode will have David Conrad's Ian Quinn returning and will debut Blizzard's alter ego, Donnie Gill. None of that's in the official synopsis, which just reads:

Coulson and May uncover startling information about Skye's past, while the team is swept into a storm at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy.

The Flash

Well, if this tweet from producer Greg Berlanti is any indication, they're either writing a script that gets Barry Allen into his classic costume or are just spraying blood everywhere:

#TheFlash is definitely an appropriate script to be working on at Christmas time. So. Much. Red. @AJKreisberg@geoffjohns

Fellow EP Andrew Kreisberg also offered up this preview of episode 14, which sees Alex Kingston return as Dinah Lance:

Episode 14 is probably the most Brothers & Sisters episode we've done. Everyone in the Lance family has big secrets and it's all going to get blown wide open, but in a good way.

Executive producer Jeremy Carver is warning everyone that, if Tahmoh Penikett returns as Ezekiel/Gadreel, it might not be the same way we saw him last:

There are lots of different ways, shapes and forms people can appear on the show. Past, present… People shouldn't rush to any one conclusion. Just know there are a lot of different ways he could appear.

Vampire Diaries

Caroline Dries says that the show's fully aware of the sadness that is Caroline's love life:

That's kind of a joke in the 100th episode. When it comes out about Stefan and Katherine sleeping together, Caroline's like, 'What?! Why the heck am I the only one not getting any?' Hopefully, we'll find her somebody new.

Star Wars: Rebels

Tim Curry voiced Emperor Palpatine in The Clone Wars after the death of Ian Abercrombie, and there's a report that he'll be back in that role for Rebels. According to a "Where Are They Now?" article at ScreenCrush, Curry is set to "reprise" his role as Palpatine's voice. [The]

Almost Human

According to Minka Kelly, a possible romantic relationship between her character, Valerie, and Karl Urban's Kennex is being considered, but isn't a sure thing yet:

As you saw in the (debut episode), she met him for the first time but she's known of him for years. When it comes to sort of sticking up for him, she has a real strong compassion for all beings, but especially for him, just because she holds him in such high regard. She's just always admired him and looked up to him, and I think that's why.

I don't know [about any resolution to the sexual tension] yet. I think (the writers) are sort of flirting with the idea, but I don't know how long that may or may not take to actually act on. Right now maybe they're just having a little mutual admiration, I guess. I don't know where it's going to lead.

American Horror Story

Here's the synopsis for episode 10, "The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks":

In the aftermath of the slaughter of her people, Marie Laveau seeks a truce with Fiona and the Coven... but her dark master, Papa Legba, demands his annual due. The next morning, Cordelia is horrified when she finally learns that Hank is a Witch Hunter... and Marie confesses hiring him to kill the Coven. Fiona is forgiving of Marie on the grounds that she was doing what she had to do, but is furious with Cordelia for having married Hank and letting him turn her against her own mother. They learn that Hank's father, Harrison, was his primary employer, and they cast a spell to make his corporation begin losing money, the better to weaken him. Later, Fiona attempts to out Misty as the next Supreme. When Misty proves uninterested in the position, Fiona tempts her by inviting a White Witch... Stevie Nicks, Misty's favorite singer. All the girls are enraptured by Stevie, except Madison, who is upset that Misty is the new Supreme-apparent, and, in her jealousy, goes to extreme lengths. Meanwhile, as Fiona becomes ever more ill, she asks Marie for the secret of her eternal youth, and Marie tells her the terrible price. As Fiona brings the Axeman a proposition and learns a startling truth about herself, Nan, wielding her growing powers, confronts Joan about Luke's death. And later, Marie and Fiona make a terrible deal – a deal involving a most unexpected betrayal.

Am I the only one thinking the Doctor will actually die in this episode? Like, die dead. And Capaldi is a new Time Lord that takes up the oath? It seems /too/ obvious but at the same time it's what they've been building towards... I dunno but the theory still stands strong with me.
