Sharp Systems of America has announced that they too will be releasing an update to their “AL3D” line of notebooks with 3D displays, the “Actius AL3DU.” Though the specifications appear to be the same as the “AL3DH” announced by Sharp of Japan (which we’ve already talked about), stateside Sharp has for some reason dropped the letter H in favor of the ever-popular letter U. U as in, USA? Unique? Ukulele? The AL3DU is available for about $3,500, so go ahead and take out a second mortgage.
