Shirley Manson, lead singer of Garbage, will join the cast of post-apocalyptopera Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles this fall, but what’s really shocking is the role she plays. She’ll be Catherine Weaver, the CEO of a high-tech company (which I’m guessing has something to do with the development of the show’s future cyber-dictator, Skynet.)
