David Pescovitz has a nice round-up of the current state of ‘smart clothes,’ or “computer couture” as he’s calling it – textiles that do fun or intelligent or useful things, like dispense medicines, keep themselves clean, and display Pac-Man ghosts via Bluetooth. We’ve talked about a lot of this stuff before, but it’s still neat to see them all sort of next to each other. Too bad smart fabrics have been just on the cusp of production for years and years. I’d be happy with just a shirt I could change the logo on.
