Sony is introducing an update to their UX line of ultra-portable PCs with the VAIO UX Premium. This UMPC is the same as its predecessor (Intel Core Solo, Wi-Fi, 4.5-inch display, keyboard, etc), but the main difference is that it has a 32GB flash drive. Flash drive is always a plus because flash is faster, more reliable and provides a better battery life.

This premium edition VAIO UX will be available in Febraury for almost $2,500.

DISCUSSION

I have to give Sony credit on one front (Yes, I'm a Sony-hater...get over it). They STILL make the 'sexiest' looking electronics. Now if only Fujitsu or another company dealing on the level of 'practical' people would make something like this....minus any of Sony's proprietary BS. Then to finish that all off, if it could be made to 'emulate' the Palm OS inside a window such that I can get my drug DB's to work with it... (ie., Lexi-Comp)....
