Action figures might seem like strange actors for a stop-motion film. After all, how do you get them to show emotion when they can’t move their facial features? But the Parabucks has managed to pull it off, using lots of tiny movements to add dimension to the action between Batman and his foes.
This is just a teaser for what promises to be a longer short film, titled Dark Knight: Knightfall. This segment is more interesting for its animation than our visit with Batman, although there is a neat gag at the end. It should be worth checking out the longer short when Parabucks animators Derek Kwok and Henri Wong release it.
