Tom’s Hardware Guide roundup of multi-format flash memory card reader/writers. Lots of options out there right now. DCViews.com reports that Sony is recalling some of its DSC-F717 Cyber-shot digital cameras, because under certain conditions it cannot focus and the resulting photographs will be blurry. Read

PalmInfocenter has a lengthy review of Palm’s new Tungsten T flagship PDA. The Tungsten T runs the new Palm OS 5.0, has 16MB of RAM, integrated Bluetooth, and SD slot, and has a 65,000 color TFT screen. Read
Infosync on Packard Bell’s budget Pocket PC, which looks like it’s designed to go head to head with the Viewsonic V35 and those new Dell handhelds. The PocketGear 2030, which has an SD/MMC expansion slot, 64MB of RAM, 3.5-inch display, and is just 11mm thick. Read
Five very aesthetically displeasing new cellphones from Siemens Mobile are hitting the US soon. The top-of-the-line model, the tri-band GSM S56, is a clone of a model introduced earlier in Europe, and has a 256 color screen, a clip-on digital camera with integrated flash, and can handle GPRS for data.
