Despite the initial art for the crazy Evangelion x Transformers crossover, which featured Optimus Prime looking truly badass in EVA Unit-01’s colors, the first figure of the collaboration has arrived, and it’s actually EVA Unit-01 decked out in Optimus Prime’s colors. Wacky!
Meet Optimusn EVA Prime. I still have no idea how this is really going to work — will they release Angel figures in Decepticon colors? — but the line isn’t due until 2015, so they have plenty of time to figure it out.
