Ok, really. What publication doesn't have an iOS app at this point? Today legendary quarterly lit mag The Paris Review joined the fray.
What does it do?
Pretty much what you'd expect from an iPad/iPhone publication—gives you the latest issue of the Paris Review as well as back issues and archived content.
Why do we like it?
The Paris Review is the foremost literary magazine—founded by the late George Plimpton, it's responsible for discovering some of the best and brightest writers of the past six decades. It helped along early careers of the likes of David Foster Wallace, Philip Roth, Jack Kerouac, and Jeffrey Eugenides, among countless others. Within the app, you'll get content from these writers and more in both current and back issues (for $9.99 per issue or $29.99 for an annual, four-issue subscription). Don't want to pay? You can also check the Paris Review Daily, which is the publication's blog. Download before October 28 and you'll get the current issue free as well as one from 1958. Who knows? You just might end up reading something from the next Pulitzer Prize winner.
