the user himself who posted the original pics was the one who took them down. Sure, Apple asked him to, but so what? and Flickr had nothing to do with it.
as he says on his flickr page, had you taken even a minute to check it out.” http://www.flickr.com/photos/rheauch……

New Apple iPod Commercial: They Built This City

>> and psxndc is right – if you don’t like the DRM, then strip it.
“Whoa. Holy mischaracterizations, Batman. I feel the complete opposite. If you buy it with DRM, it should stay DRM’ed. That is what you are agreeing to when you buy it. If you don’t like DRM’ed music, don’t buy it. That doesn’t mean download it either. Speak with your wallet. This is an unpopular stance, but here it goes:
You have no right to be entertained.
Artists/labels are offering to sell you X for Y. As the copyright holders, it is their perogative what the price should be and how copies can be made and distributed (that’s what a “copy right” is). You, as the consumer, have the right to say, “no, I’m not paying that much for that” or “no, not in that format.” If you two cannot agree, you walk away.
You have no right to be entertained.
If you don’t like the model, don’t buy into it and don’t circumvent the system. It only destroys your argument that the other side isn’t playing fair because you’re not either.
Apple has reached a compromise that a large number of people will buy into. They cannot/will not sell un-DRM’ed music because as I said, the masses have shown that they cannot be tursted to be responsible when the music is not protected. DRM is the only way to get the RIAA to sign on for electronic distribution.
Personally, I buy CDs. Miminal-to-no DRM, I have the physical disk which I can rip in any format I wish, over and over, and Best Buy sells them for ~$9.99, which is about what I would pay for online. Yes, a lot of times there is filler on a CD, but that’s what I’m agreeing to when I buy it. If I didn’t agree with it, I wouldn’t buy it.
I have no right to be entertained.”

Gates Has Harsh Words for $100 Computer Project
“Oh good gawd, people. I am not a Microsoft fan, but I listen to all of these comments and I wonder how out-of-touch the people hanging out here are.
https://gizmodo.com/gates-has-harsh-words-for-100-computer-project-161011
Do any of you have any concept of how much money Bill has given to these people that SUPPOSEDLY the $100 laptop will help. What good is a $100 laptop when these people need medicine, food, and drinking water?
So, before you knock Bill for expressing his opinion, you might consider the fact that, unlike Steve Jobs, the Bill you hate actually gives a significant percentage of his money to actually HELP these people.
“Gee, Bill, why don’t you help by giving more of your money to give real computers.”
Gates actually DOES gives an amazing amount of money (and, yes, that probably has more to do with Melinda than Bill, but that is another issue).
Why not bug the other billionaires of the tech industry, like Steve Jobs who gives next to nothing, to do some good in the world. Why is it the Bill has to do everything, and still gets everyones hatred?
And I don’t even like Microsoft, and I think you guys are being ridiculous!”
