We had our doubts about the latest in the long chain of hideously obvious Christmas movies (not everything can be Elf). But a new batch of Rise of the Guardians starring Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin, and Baby Kirk have turned our head around, for now. Santa is some sort of aggressive old Eastern European, the Easter Bunny is a pissed off, elongated monster and the Tooth Fairy has a bird entourage. Oh, and Yetis! So yeah, we’re now officially looking forward to this holiday flick.
