When I first saw this my first thought was "wow, Shanghai is looking really crazy these days," thinking that it was a photo. Then I zoomed in and saw it was a painting. The author is a young French artist named Klaus Pillon—who says it is the world map for an incoming indie video game. His work is great.
Samsung Unpacked—August 10
The next Samsung Unpacked event is happening on August 10 and with that, we know we will be seeing new announcements across their Galaxy lineup of products. Klaus Pillon is a French freelance concept artist and illustrator who graduated in October 2011. He has been working with Rogue Moon Studio lately (the images above are from a game they are developing.)
