Most of us are familiar with the telltale signs of zombiedom. Incoherent moans. Gurgling. A lumbering gait. Insatiable hunger. But have you ever wondered what’s actually going on inside the heads of the walking dead?
Neuroscientists (and longtime zombie fans) Bradley Voytek and Timothy Verstynen have. In this just-released, two-part TED-Ed lesson, the two researchers discuss the neuroscience of zombies, and what it can teach us about the links between behavior and the brain.
