A lot of people considered Superman’s journey in Justice League to be the highlight of the film. Here is a more idealistic, hopeful Superman, in bright colors and grinning heroism. This is a Superman we can believe in.
Fan and film editor Jon Arryn Garza seems to agree, and his edit “The Return of Superman” focuses on turning that renewal into a more fleshed out character arc. Splicing together film footage with recently released deleted scenes and moments from Man of Steel, Garza gives Superman something he lacked in the movie: a moment of quiet, inspirational decision.
