This NPR article reports a total of three robot arms lost to a 17-year-old girl. One of them even went down in 3 seconds, apparently. This is somewhat disappointing considering robotic arms are supposed to be good at this sort of thing. Don’t they use these things to build cars and throw Alien Queens out airlocks? I guess they tried to design them as realistic competitors, instead of designing them to tear her arm off. (Thanks, Joshua!)
