New details have leaked out about Ridley Scott's Monopoly, and Harry Potter's epilogue. Duncan Jones' next movie gets comic relief. There are revealing Doctor Who/Lost pics and Toy Story 3 concept art. Plus Nightmare, Twilight, Caprica, FlashForward, Chuck and Supernatural.
Monopoly:
Ridley Scott's still on track to direct this movie, which he'd said will have a futuristic sheen and be vaguely science fictional. But now Hasbro's Brian Goldner says the movie will also somehow deal with how the game came to exist, and somehow mine the game's 75 years of existence for stories. The real history and the fictional history will blend together somehow, allowing the movie to tell the stories of families over a brief period of time. Confusing! [MTV]

Duncan Jones' second movie, about a train bombing, starts filming soon. (Yay!) And Canadian comedian Russell Peters has landed a role as a "comical" passenger on the train. His role was recently expanded with "additional scenes and dialogue," says his publicist. [Winnipeg Free Press]
Nightmare On Elm Street:
The studio sent us some new "banner art" for this film, which still doesn't give us a good look at Freddie's face.
Harry Potter:
The infamous epilogue will be the last thing to be filmed, says Daniel Radcliffe, but they've already experimented with making him look older. "We have done a few tests and it does look really, really rather good." Also, he says Harry's daughter will hopefully be played by the daughter of makeup department head Amanda Knight, who was born just before Radcliffe got the role and who symbolizes how long they've been doing this. Iron Man 3:
Random speculation about what might happen in the third installment, which would come out after we've seen Tony in The Avengers and might well be Robert Downey Jr.'s last outing. Fans believe it'll either be the Mandarin (most likely) or the story of Tony becoming director of S.H.I.E.L.D., from the comics. (Less likely, although the first movie did go to some length to establish S.H.I.E.L.D. as an organization.) Anyway, this is pure speculation, but it's interesting. [Comic Book Movie]
Toy Story 3:
Banks Lee visited the Walt Disney World theme parks and got a peek at a ton of concept art for this upcoming film. Including some close looks at the Sunnyside Day Care Center where the toys get stuck, as well as grown-up Andy. And you can glimpse Woody's and Buzz's escape from Sunnyside, as well as Buzz's uncomfortable encounter with the teddy bear toy. Oh, and Mr. Pricklepants. More amazing pics at the first link. Twilight: Eclipse:
The studio replaced editor Art Jones with Nancy Richardson, who worked on the first movie and has a better handle on the characters. Judging from the hints about "balancing action with the other elements of the film," expect this to mean more emotional moments and slow close-ups. Jones collaborated with director David Slade on 30 Days Of Night, so the duo may have been trying to push this film in a more action-oriented direction. [EW]
Doctor Who:
More filming on the episode where old people go nuts and attack. Pics include the Doctor trying to climb into the room where Amy is, via the window. You know what would make this show way more awesome? A plot where Demetri's fiancee Zoey (Gabrielle Union) decides to try and change his "flashforward" by getting involved with his business at the FBI. So Zoey starts getting "much more active" and puts a strain on Demetri's relationship with his coworkers — especially Mark Benford and Wedeck. That's just what this show needs to achieve total greatness. [TV Guide]
Supernatural:
The older version of Mary Winchester will reappear in the April 1 episode. Meanwhile, a couple of other blasts from the past will show up in the 100th episode, airing April 15. [Fancast]
Chuck:
We'll find out three major revelations about Casey in the March 15 episode. And the following week, Chuck and Sarah go on a combined date-stakeout, dubbed a "statake." And someone adjusts to a brand new way of life. [EW]
Four characters contemplate leaving Burbank, and two of them actually go through with it. But given how much this show travels, we still might see those two characters again. [TV Guide]
Lost:
Those of you who've been hoping the show would focus on the Skawyack love triangle in its final episodes, you're going to be disappointed, says Damon Lindelof:
We're moving into the endgame of the show [and] the stakes have moved beyond, ‘Who's Kate going to pick?' and into, ‘Is anyone going to be left alive?,' says executive producer Damon Lindelof. "I hope [viewers are] going to be satisfied with what we're doing, but we're not writing a romance novel here. I understand in seasons past how that was much more relevant. We're not neglecting it, but there's a lot of fish to fry. The elements of the love triangle - Kate's relationship with Jack, her relationship with Sawyer, Sawyer's relationship with Juliet, who's dead - are a huge part of the season. All that stuff is in play.
