Valiant Entertainment turns 25 this year, and are celebrating their anniversary with a big convention tour across the US — not just to celebrate the company's milestone, but also to make sure you know everything there is to know about their characters before they're all turned into the next cinematic comic universe.

The 25th anniversary tour will see a host of Valiant writers and artists conduct panels at 10 different conventions: One that celebrates the 25th anniversary and what's coming up for Valiant Comics, and a secondary panel that acts as an introductory guide to Valiant's works and its well-known characters, like Dr. Mirage, Ninjak and X-O Manowar. It kicks off this weekend at Emerald City Comic Con, but here's a full list of the cons Valiant will tour:

It's a pretty clever move — as much as we love Valiant, their comics aren't as well known as the likes of DC or Marvel. It's smart to pick up on a big event like an anniversary to sort of poke at people who've never read their books to come and learn more, especially as news about their movie adaptations starts coming out.

Hopefully it means more people get to learn about the weird, wonderful world of Valiant comics anyway. Or you know, reading Archer and Armstrong, because more people should be doing that anyways.
