We show a lot of VFX reels at io9, because we always think it’s cool to see how much work goes into making fantasies look real. In that regard, this excellent Jurassic World VFX reel is no different. In another regard, it also features grown-ups pretending to be dinosaurs.
Whether they’re trotting around as if they’re Chris Pratt’s velociraptor pals (1:58) or giving children rides as baby triceratops (0:45), they’re delightful. Honestly, ILM, you could have skipped the pure CG stuff. You’re ILM; we all know you do good work. More footage of people pretending to be dinosaurs, please!
