When you’re listing cool scenes that were in movie trailers, but not in the actual movie, the Iron Man 2 scene where Pepper kisses Tony’s helmet and tosses it away, and he says “You complete me,” would be up there.

This alternate opening, which I’m guessing will be on the DVD and Blu-ray, coming soon, also explains why we had so much buzz at one point about the idea that Iron Man 2 would start with Tony getting intimate with a toilet. That, in turn, led to speculation that the movie would feature some version of the “Demon In A Bottle” story about alcoholism. It’s true that this version of the opening would have set up the idea that Tony was a deeply flawed, fucked up person early on, what with the vomiting and then demanding a smooch immediately afterwards.
