We have the good people at Zooborns to thank for this, the most eyeball-blastingly cute thing you will see all day. “Pup 681” was rescued off the coast of California but now calls Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium home.
The aquarium is currently holding a contest in conjunction with Good Morning America to give the pup a more suitable name; once you’ve stopped swooning in otter admiration, cruise over here and vote on one of the choices. (Names are picked to reflect the otter’s place of rescue, so sadly, there’s no write-in option for anyone hoping for a Jug-Band Christmas homage.)
