Waxahatchee is an indie band born from lead singer/songwriter Katie Crutchfield’s bedroom, the “recording studio” for the band’s freshman album American Weekend. Since then, the group has become something pretty amazing.

Waxahatchee’s sound quality may have improved, but Crutchfield and company haven’t given up that raw quality in its chord and lyrical structure that makes it so grat. “Air” is the first look at Waxahatchee’s third release Ivy Tripp and all sonic signs point to the band adding another great album to its discography. Give it a listen.
