Web Trumps Pits Site Against Site in a Card Game That Doesn’t Need Internet Access

Based on a popular card game called Top Trumps created back in 1968, Web Trumps pits popular websites against each other in a card game that lets you see how your favorite site stacks up to the competition.

The game includes 32 uniquely designed cards representing 32 different web apps and companies. Each card also features a list of categories that rate each company in terms of Facebook likes, Twitter followers, home page size, Google search results, and even its Hipster factor—which is considered a plus here.

Players select cards, and then one chooses a specific category, in hopes that the card they’re holding manages to top all of the other cards in play. Whoever ends up winning takes the ‘trick’ and then the cards are re-dealt and the game continues. As card games go it’s as simple as it gets, but that’s not to say there’s not a lot of fun to be had with this $20 deck.
