After being decommissioned 13 years ago, FBI agents Muller and Scully are returning to TV for a six-part event miniseries. It’s exciting, but given the lackluster way the TV show ended and the two so-so movies that followed it, it’s also kind of disconcerting. So what do you want to see when The X-Files return?
Who should show up? What answers are you still looking for? Should it take place immediately after I Want to Believe, or should it be set in 2015? Should it return to the mystery of the Grays, or never mention them at all? Should anything be retconned, and if so, how would you suggest they do it? And last but not least, should Frank Black from Millennium stop by? (The answer to that last one is obviously “Yes.”) Discuss.
