Jim Henson made this video in 1963 for Bell Labs, to try and illustrate the difference between humans and computers (most people back then had barely even heard of computers, let alone used them). It is, to say the least, very very trippy.
Many of the informational bits are obscured considerably, but holy shit, imagine watching this on psychedelics. I can’t decide if that decision would be downright foolish, or downright awesome. [AT&T via John Herrman]
