Just over a month after we first stumbled across PaulG Toys' flying pterodactyl at Toy Fair 2015, the unique remote control toy is available for pre-order via a Kickstarter campaign. And early backers can get the pterodactyl and a wireless controller with a donation of just $250 if they're confident the crowdfunding campaign will be a success.

If you need a refresher course on why this is one of the more awesome Kickstarter campaigns out there, this RC pterodactyl actually flies by flapping its five-foot wide wings, and steers by moving its pair of feet like flaps and ailerons. On a full charge it will stay airborne for up to 20 minutes and it has an impressive flight range of 1,600 feet. But if all that isn't enough, it even has remotely triggered screeching sound effects to really strike fear into the target you're dive-bombing. [Kickstarter]
