“Night Stalker” follows a young woman’s journey into a weird and terrifying land, courtesy of a takeout container that is a portal for a dangerous creature. Hold on to your face.
“Night Stalker” is by New Media Ltd. (which I will admit describes itself in such a pretentious way that I almost wish I didn’t like this short as much as I do) and started life as two music videos for the band Fort Lean. The effects are great, the short is shot really nicely, and Maya Kazan gives a great performance as the lead. And, you know, it’s genuinely creepy.
