Last night when I was chatting with Jesus, I mentioned I wanted to get out of the Giz virtual office so I could build my new gaming desktop. He laughed and mocked me for being "so 1990s." It bothered me, but he's right: Barely anyone I know has a full-size, honkin' desktop anymore. By all appearances, they're a dying breed on the consumer end, being pushed into extinction by notebooks (which have long outsold desktops and even call themselves gaming machines now) and all-in-ones. But is the desktop really at the end of the line? You tell us.
