Lucky for us, Russia is the land of dashcams, meaning that yet again, we get a driver's seat view of the phenomenon. How do you say "wow" in Russian? Advertisement The meteor blasted over Murmansk, a city in the very northwest part of Russia. Check out this video, and a different view here, from a YouTube account called, oddly enough, "Meteorite and Murmansk." I guess it's a whole thing. Russians install dashcams in their cars for a variety of reasons, most of them corruption or extortion related. Thankfully, they also happen to catch awesome astronomical phenomena in the process.
